The Blind Mans Workshop

Logo and Website

I was approached by a local, visually impaired blogger who wanted branding to be created for their new blog, documenting their woodwork and lathe skills. They wanted a logo created, business cards and a website which was accessible and easy for them to update and navigate independently.

A few different idea's where sketched on German Film which enabled the customer to feel the embossed design, to try and give them the best insight of the design. Once they where happy, the design was created then digitally in Adobe Photoshop.

Bold contrasting colours where chosen to keep accessibility in mind with their audience, and their inverted colour palate was also accessible.

Business cards where created with an embossed logo and text, again continuing with the conformity of accessibility.

To ensure the customer was able to maintain conformity within their website, I created an accessible style sheet for them, with all typeface details, colour pallet hexacodes, font sizing's as well as picture sizes.
